Along with a crew working for PBS Nature, ZatzWorks traveled to the Arctic in search of Alaska’s largest caribou herd. The Western Arctic Caribou Herd is almost never captured in film or video because their range is so remote. We traveled to Kotzebue, Alaska with the ZatzWorks helicopter and Cineflex to find and film the amazing migration of these animals. Filming with the Cineflex in the Arctic, our crew, including John Spencer, Daniel Zatz and Richard Nelson, worked from 8PM to 4AM each night to capture epic Alaska images with the Cineflex and our HDCAM.
