It’s the single busiest fishing day in more than twenty five years. Our Alaska-based Cineflex is filming the event from our helicopter and capturing this amazing and strange human spectacle for several clients. Recorded on HDCAM SR, the event is important because it illustrates the commercial value of the fishery and supports efforts by Alaskan’s who oppose unrestricted development of the Pebble gold mine. We captured all of the action with less than two hours notice – a huge benefit to having a dedicated helicopter rigged with a Cineflex and SRW1 recorder in Alaska!
