The ZatzWorks Cineflex crew traveled to Katmai National Park several times during the summer of 2012.
We shot aerials for an upcoming BBC series about bears, and we also completed work on the Katmai National Park film that’s set to premier at the Smithsonian (and then PBS broadcast) in mid 2013.
The ZatzWorks Cineflex crew flew more than 80 hours for both projects, and in the end we were asked to capture the crater lakes inside several volcanoes, one of the Park’s iconic waterfalls, and Novarupta– the site of the most powerful volcanic eruption of the 20th century.
